How do I save an paused wma or mpeg image as a picture?

Question

For example on RealPayer or WMP I can pause the video to the image I want... how do I make that image into a picture?

I have a video where a historic family picture is shown... I have no access to the actual picture so having a way to turn the paused or still image into a jpeg or other format picture is the only way I see to have this picture. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.

yeah print screen is correct but it wont help u if u play it in full screen it will give u a pitch black image.

so the best way is import it to Microsoft movie maker and there u can take pictures our of any frame u like

use portable VLC's option "snapshot" or use what ever player you like and disable hardware acceleration and then use print screen
