when i go to the index page of my own web site, Norton Anti-Virus pops up with the alert that a virus has been detected on my computer, the virus name is *downloader* and it is located in:

c:\windows\tempo...\index[1].htm

it further says that access to the file has been denied.

I've searched for the file and it doesn't exist. My web site's index page is, index.html.

This alert is only coming up when I go to the index page of my web site. I can go to other web site's no problem.

I've done a virus scan but Norton doesn't find the virus through a scan, only when I go to my page.

Can anyone advise what I should do to get rid of this virus? Are people visiting my web site being infected with the virus?

Any help that can be provide would be so greatly appreciated.

I recently signed up with AOL and have discovered that any image I try to save to my hard drive isn't working. It says that the file format is not supported. I can't think of another way to save the image!! Any ideas?

I must have a mental block or something derr!! I know you use 'terminal' but when I try to navigate to the place where 'I think' the package is I either get permission denied or 'no such file' or even worse - nothing happens at all - I've read the help files over and over but doesnt really help.

Lots of political/social issue bloggers claim they are trying to provide information to help with national and international issues. Yet, American bloggers--from what I can tell--never take a stand and recommend that Americans learn a second language. It's as though they expect the six billion people in the world to all know English. I see this as very egocentric. I have a blog and am always encouraging people to study a foreign languge to promote intercultural communication, and to show that they are making an effort to reach out to other cultures. Not doing so to me is a lazy, hypocritical attitude. I learned Spanish (nearly fluently) so I could communicate with Latin Americans who might not understand English because I feel I should practice what I preach (and translation software programs are worthless). Can anyone understand my viewpoint?

I have a very large amount of data stored in MS Excel for my bussiness use (i have a CD shop, i have records in ms excel). Now i want to transfer my add data from MS Excel to MS Access.
I Excel i have the data in this format
Sr. no. -- Name of Movie -- Casting --- Productions -- Date released.

Now i have leaned how to use MS Access and i think Access ih better and easier to handle data and its easy to retrieve data. How can i transfer all of my data? I cant simply add data manually as it will be too much time taking.

Hi, Thanks a lot for your attention to my question. I want to know that which model of Intel Pentium 4 proccessors has same usage and performance with AMD Authlon 64 (Not FX serie). I want to know that which type of Intel Pentium 4 proccessors (Like 2.0GHz, 2.4Ghz, 3.2Ghz, etc) is equals or same to AMD Authlon 64.

I have a system which has a AMD Authlon 64. When I use the software named "SiSoft Sandra Version 2004", It gives me that the speed of my CPU is 2.01GHz, but the administrator told me that CPU is 3200. (He didn't told me 3200 what?! He didn't told me any unit for 3200 and I think it's normally the frequency of the CPU),

And at last I think this would be useful that my MainBoard supports excess to 3000+ core frequencies, And I'am using a 32-bit version of Microsoft Windows XP, Is it possible that the cause of this low speed (2.01GHz) of cpu and the reason of the fallback (Falling of Frequency in manner of incompatibility of MainBoard and the CPU)?

Is there a way to configure a laptop running Windows XP in such a way that I have a output being displayed through the VGA output that's different than what is displayed on the laptop screen, yet still be able to manipulate the VGA screen? I need to include an automatic call to a real-time exchange rate table to get the ratio in a PhP code, so prices calculated (i.e. $Euroval) can be displayed also in other currency(ies), such as $Gbpavl = $Euroval * $k.
Anyone knows a site where I can get that?
I just want to make a call to a site and receive "k" in response. The call must be invisible and processed at the server, before downloading the HTML to the client.
