My old desktop decided to die, and it crashes no matter what i do. So I wanted a new PC, and I wanted a laptop. I was thinking about buying the Sony Vaio VGN-AR41E which is due to come out at the end of the week or so. My brother said it was good. It costs 1,200 euro, which I thought was quite a lot, but reasonable as it is a Vaio laptop. Does anybody know anything about this laptop, or have any other suggestions? I live in Switzerland and I'm purchasing the laptop in Germany, hence it should be a laptop which i can get. Here is the website of Sony for the data of the laptop:

I use FireFox and Opera to surf the web. Every few hours I get a pop up in IE and it is starting to get annoying. I tried ControlPanel>AddRemoveComponets and I renamed iexplore.exe to iexploresucks.exe. Still no luck.

Is it safe to delete it? Can I disable it?

I use windows XP home. I have a digital camera. When I transfer photos from the memory stick to the computer and wish to view them, they are always opened with windows paint programme and the photo's are much larger than shown in the camera viewer, hence I can only see one part of the whole photo. I have Magix photo installed on the computer and would like to use that, but Windows Paint keeps appearing, how do I change to Magix. Thanks.

i've downloaded suse linux 10.2 over the internet which consists of 5 compressed files each of one cd.I opened the cd 1 file and selected all the files and wrote them to cd...but it doesn't really boot( cd as first boot device)....do i need to add some extra files or what...pls help.
