I need information about why sometimes,my internet connection becomes very slow.
And sometimes,there's no connection at all.
Is there anyone who could tell me why this happened?

I'm in the market for a dedicated web server and all the ones I am looking at offer BSD, Windows and Linux as an OS choice. what are the pros and cons of each one and which one do you think I should use?

I have a dell latitude 600 and when I turn it on for the first 15 to 20 min I keep hearing a clicking sound from the proximal left corner of the keyboard it seems to me from the hard drive.It then disappears, or becomes less frequent. any suggestions?

i have a emachines windows vista...and the other day it was in my room but we moved it into the living room after we got it all plugged in and put together we started it and now the color is messed up...we didnt change any settings or anything...its just the red and pink and stuff is like a greyish color...its really bothering me how can i fix this??? i tried messing with the color thing on the side and everything and nothing is working please help thanks

ive currently bought a mobo an its a ASUS crosshair Motherboard V2 R.O.G NF590 SLI, and i'm jus wondering if this grahics card will be compapatible with it, its a NVIDIA GEFORCE 6800 GT 256MB PCI EXPRESS, i was going to buy the NVidia 8800GTX 768MB graphics card ? but cant afford it, cos its like £300 +, thanks daz

Periodically, my mouse freezes and then after a day or so it unfreezes. Example, I'm typing this question and if I pause for about 5 seconds or more before clicking "Next", I have to double click to get my mouse to work. As I say, after a day or two it reverts to normal single click action. I've checked the settings to see if there's anything there that might explain, but I can't see anything. It's annoying because it means the cursor is frozen whereever it is - often on a link - and by the time the mouse comes back to life, the link has opened, and that is rarely the action I want. By the way, it is a wireless mouse.

i want to install vista on my harddisk. i insert the cd, connect harddisk. now i need to change the boot order to:
1. CD-ROm (which i cn do)
2. My harddisk

In the boot devices list are the following things:
-Removable Storage
Legacy Floppy Drives
-Hard Drive
IC25NO20ATMR04-0-(PM)
CR-ROM Drive
IBA 4.0.2 Slot o240

my question - which one of these is mr harddisk? i assumed it'll be in removable storage, but there's only floppy drive there. ne1 cn help?

I am trying to create a HTML based executive report on a UNIX (Solaris) system which will include formatted text, image files and graphs (from source files in CSV format). I'd also like to be able to save the report as a pdf file. Can anyone suggest a good way to tackle this? Is there (free) software available to help achieve this?

I am wanting to install parallels on my MacBookPro and since you need a real Windows OS cd, I was wondering if I would be able to use the OS cd that came with my old Dell or HP? They are real OS cds and not copies, but they came with a Dell/HP computer. Would this work? Or will I have to go out and buy a Windows OS CD from Microsoft?
