ive currently bought a mobo an its a ASUS crosshair Motherboard V2 R.O.G NF590 SLI, and i'm jus wondering if this grahics card will be compapatible with it, its a NVIDIA GEFORCE 6800 GT 256MB PCI EXPRESS, i was going to buy the NVidia 8800GTX 768MB graphics card ? but cant afford it, cos its like £300 +, thanks daz

i don't see why not, as long as their both pci express x16. For the newer cards, a power supply might be an issue though. Good luck.

The Crosshair is based on Nvidia's top-of-the-range nForce 590 SLI chipset, and has two 16x PCI-E slots and support for up to 8GB of PC2-6400 DDR2.

The NVIDIA GEFORCE 6800 GT 256MB PCI EXPRESS also has a PCI-Express x16 Interface, therefore no problem at all.

Yes you can, and because you have a SLI board, (Scalable Link Interface), you can pick up two of those cards, (make sure you buy them at the same time to avoid problems), and can run them both, allowing each card to do half as much work. (Theoretically)

As this mobo has 2 PCI E slots you could even bung a couple of them in if you wished.

It should do, thats a pretty serious motherboard. Thats the one with LED's all ovewr it n stuff is it not?
Only way to be sure, and you should be sure, is to go to ASUS or NVIDIA website and check compatibility.
