I`ve had the above for quite some time and recently deleted it because of a problem I was having. Having cured the problem ( cant remember what it was). I`ve successfuly re-installed it, but it wont allow me to install Yahoo & Google toolbars I get a similar msg. for both saying "There was a problem sending the command to the programme". I was wondering whether I could have deleted something using my security services i.e. Spybot, Adaware, Comodo,& AVG free. plus CCleaner.

my husband is living abroad. he gave me the laptop that he is using before. i had the harddrive of the laptop changed but he still gains access to the laptop even if he is abroad. i never gave him my email address. i don't use the laptop to chat with him. in fact, i told him that the laptop is broken. he has been able to corrupt the microsoft windows of the laptop twice already..i have all the necessary spywares, etc. still the same.

I want to print to my elderly Canon laser printer using my new laptop (Toshiba running XP). But the laptop doesn't have a parallel port (I didn't even think to look when I bought it). I bought a USB to parallel adaptor (no name, no support) hoping that would resolve the issue. But the Canon driver in XP doesn't seem to want to talk to the USB ports.
At the moment, I put my documents for printing onto a USB key and print using my wife's computer. But it would be nice to print from my own machine.

everytime I try youtube or anything else that needs flash9 it gives me a message asking me to update ive checked out flash 9 and there are no downloads for psps that I know of however this son of a ***** isent going to share how he did it ive been up for 4 days trying to figure it out ive even tryed puting a win 95 .iso on my psp so I could do it yet it doesent have internet explorer ive been hacking my psp since it came out if you could help me solve this my psp will be my mini laptop pda since it has everything else but if I can figure this out ill have unlimited streaming movies animes from a certain site that has just about every movie anime tv shows cartoons and sports all for free I will give you the link if as a prize if you can solve this

and then an electronic sound. It sounds just like someone is taking a pic with a 35mm camera or something....you know the sound.

Could this be spyware? I am concerned as it has happened a couple of times. I was surfing ebay this time. Is my info safe? I appreciate any thoughts or advice.

I have been using my own custom built computer (PC) to edit videos for 4 years. Technology advances so fast that my computer, which was once top of the line is now obsolete, with respect to video editing and gaming. I now have an HD Camera and I would like to continue editing films. Its time for me to get a new computer, but I need a laptop. Is there any reasonably priced laptop (PC) (less than $2,000) that could handle the new Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, edit HD video seamlessly (It would not lag) and render the video fairly quickly.

--Breakdown of PC Laptop--
1. Can handle Adobe Premiere Pro CS3
2. Can handle HD video editing without lagging (Seamlessly)

Keep in mind i have a Radeon x1900GT PCI-E graphics card. 1 SATA Harddrive, 2 ATA Harddrives, 2x1gb PC2-4200 DDR2 533Mhz, 2x512mb PC2-4200 533Mhz of RAM.

Or is there a better motherboard I should be looking at for around the same price.

Looking at a new mackbook and i was wondering if there's really a difference between 2Ghz and 2.16Ghz. I plan to run bootcamp so i can use windows on it and i run a windows based recording software. Bassically do i really need the 2.16Ghz?

I am aware that CRC errors can stem from bad/corrupted data, srcatched discs and improperly downloaded files. Here's the thing though, I've already confirmed several files and discs that I have that are in good working condition by using it on several other PCs. No problems with extraction and installation.

However, when I use the same files and discs on my PC, there's always some kind of error, usually a CRC error that hinders installation of a program or game. My DVD drive is definitely not the problem since I transfered it to a different PC and it worked fine. Same w/ some of the downloaded files I got. Works elsewhere except on my PC. What in the world is causing this?

If it were a hardware problem, which piece of hardware should I consider troubleshooting or replacing? I've already gone through the paces of trying to look for a software problem, but there doesn't seem to be a problem w/ my software.
