I`ve had the above for quite some time and recently deleted it because of a problem I was having. Having cured the problem ( cant remember what it was). I`ve successfuly re-installed it, but it wont allow me to install Yahoo & Google toolbars I get a similar msg. for both saying "There was a problem sending the command to the programme". I was wondering whether I could have deleted something using my security services i.e. Spybot, Adaware, Comodo,& AVG free. plus CCleaner.

Yes, uninstall Firefox and insall IE7,
it has all the features of firefox, mozzilla and IE6 combined together with an antiphishing filter and good browser support.

The first and last time i downloaded firefox, it kept on shutting down my fire wall, something i will never allow to happen, neadless to say, Firefox was promptly uninstalled and i went back to the trusted browser IE7.

sure that's, yet I heard it has various themes that crackers are utilising to make the main it, i will suggestion which you the two use an older version of firefox (e.g firefox one million.6) or the main contemporary version of internet Explorer (IE 7). this is a large progression over lots of the different IE variations (e.g. help for tabbed surfing and greater protection).

Completly uninstall all traces of firefox from your computer and reinstall it.

You might have some files left on there from your last install which are playing around with the program. By removing everything associated with firefox this possibility is eliminated :)
