No offense.. but depends on what you want to do if you find out they are not going to great sites. " Prevention is better than cure"
Solution 1: If you have a specific list of sites which you want them to access (nothing beyond this), then check this link
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/using/howto/security/contentadv/config.mspx#EBF
Solution 2: If you want an advanced software to do that job for you check these links
http://www.netnanny.com/features/stop-****/detail/technical
http://3d2f.com/programs/5-967-surfwall-home-download.shtml
However, if you only want to keep a track of the sites, have a look at the history. you should also know that kids can easily clear the history before they log out from the internet session.

Why not just keep the area in a public place of the house and make it clear that they don't have privacy when they are on the internet. You can get those kinds of programs but kids are far less likely to browse inappropriate content and engage in dangerous contacts if their internet time is limited and the computer is in a family area, not their bedroom.

How old are they? Are they good with computers?
If so, don't rely on Internet history, cos they can easily delete that using software like Crap cleaner (ccleaner).
Try installing NetNanny, or try Stealth Website logger (i havent personally used it, so i don't know if its any good, sorry).
netnanny - www.netnanny.com
Stealth Website logger - http://www.shareup.com/Stealth_WebSite_Logger-download-27632.html
