My comp keeps saying this and slowing down. Often it shuts itself down, and begins dump of phscical memory. Any tips to sort these problems?

I sat down at our computer, and moved the mouse to wake it up. When the display came on it came on white and then faded in to simply just lines of color, no display whatsoever. I've restarted computer after letting it sit overnight and still same problem. is this just the monitor or something with the computer? Yikes... Help!

i got limewire a few weeks ago and although i think nothing is wrong my mum cant get into her e-mail. could limewire be responsible? how do i scan limewire files for viruses. i dont know where they are located on my comp to do so. please if you could help at all i would be grateful. hm

Not to sound racist but, why are most of those cyber predators in that industry, at least in the Petaluma episode of "Dateline's To Catch a Predator" of Indian descent? Once again sorry if it sounds like I am focusing on one race. I am just wondering.

I recently purchased this board and had decided to try to use two NVIDIA g-cards in SLI but it seems as though the package doesnt contain a bridge or connector. I looked at the manual and there is no mention of a bridge being included. I was under the impression that all SLI motherboards came with a bridge. Am i wrong? if so what is the best solution for me? Does this board run sli nividia cards?

I found directions (see bewlow) online but can't make sense of how to use them with vista/internet explorer 7. I am a newbie and would appreciate if someone could simply this in simple steps. Thanks in advance...


I have lost my favorites. What should I do now?
Typically, there is no need to worry. Every time you read in your favorites, Favorites Explorer makes a backup. So, unless something did seriously go wrong, you should still have a copy of how your favorites looked previously.

To retrieve a copy, click the "Open" button in the "Home" tab.C:\Users\jdoe\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies.

Backups are saved in the Dutch Duck\Favorites subdirectory of your Application Data subdirectory. (You can find where this directory is by choosing the Show specialfolders option in the help menu.)

I have several videos I want to put on dvd cd's because I want to wipe my computer clean of everything and redownload stuff. I want to save the videos though. I have tried opening the file and dragging the videos into it from the my documents but it never works and I cant seem to find a program to do it on this computer. Does anyone have any advice?

its 1.5gb in size and its seems to be getting bigger! Can i safety delete this file without adverse consequences? Will Windows allow me to delete it? Tried moving it to another partition but windows didnt allow me. I think the file has something to do with the hibernation feature which i use a lot.

i don't want to use microsoft office for the macbook since it defeats the purpose of getting it. I got this new laptop bought from singapore an Compaq one. It has come with the entire Microsoft offfice already installed on it. I assume they would have installed a liscenced version. Also if it helps, my OS is Windows Vista, Home premium, i think. I face this problem with Xcel and powerpoint too.

My question is:
1. if MS office is preinstalled should it not be a liscenced version. If yes, shouldnt i get the discs too with them?

2. If this is the liscenced version, y is it asking me for the code. Is there any way i can register coz i dont have the discs and hence no code?
