i dont want anyone who i dont allow to go on my myspace page. i know some people dont let people see their pictures and their personal stuff on myspace. how can i set that??

OK. MY COMPUTER IS ALWAYS ENCOUNTERING PROBLEMS AND ERRORS SHUTS DOWN AUTOMATICALLY AND IT'S SO STRESSING FINDING A WAY TO FIX IT. SO I WANT TO RE-INSTALL MY PC, BUT MY CD-ROM DRIVE IS NOT WORKING IS THERE ANY WAY TO INSTALL MY PC WIHOUT THE CD EXPECT DOING IT THE 6 FLOPPY DISKS WAY AND WTF IS NORTON GHOST AND IS THERE SOMEWHERE I CAN DOWNLOAD THE INSTALL FILE

You know that little bit in the corner of the screen where some of your computers icons are hidden.
Every now and then when my computer is going slow or crashing this litte arrow pops up.
Its bent, green with a blue/black shadow under it and it points in an upwards direction. It normally flashes up then dissapears flashes up then dissapears alot.
I've never seen it before and its scaring me cos' i don't know what it is :(
Can somebody please tell me what it is?

My videos are in avi format, less than 100 megabytes and shorter than 10 minutes but I simply can't get those videos uploaded on youtube! Everytime I click on upload it says "undefined" so I just assume my video is probably processing and I waited for the upload for hours or up to half a day and it's still indicating a "undefined" status! I tried signing in and out of my account and restarting my computer and it still stay the same!
Anyone has any ideas to help resolve this issue?

I am using windows 2000, inside task manager it shows 2 boxes for the cpu, however using the same set up but with windows xp the task manager shows 4 cpu windows.

Does windows 2000 recognise quad core CPUs?
Are only 2 CPUs being used in windows 2000?

So im having this problem with my dell inspiron 6000 laptop...My computer wont recognize any dell inspiron charger...Im positive the chargers work because they work in my roomates laptop...I asked the question of whats wrong with it and some 1 told me i needed to get the portion of the computer where u stick the power chord in re **Soliderd**** is that the word??? if so how do i go about doing so without sending my whole laptop back to dell??

all I care about is speed and anything vital in mind

At an internet Cafe abroad I found that every time i went to a new address on IE the title bar (that is the white on blue text)showed the name of the site i was using plus the words " - -Internet Explorer Hacked by Godzilla" The Cafe operator knew nothing of this until i pointed it out. What was going on? Needless to say I did not continue my session there.

Asking this question repeatedly from the last 15-20 days. So far not successful in solving this problem. Please help.

My UPS stops working for a second when ever the power is cut and then starts working but the damage has been done.

I have just replaced the battery of my UPS but when the power is cut, the computer (sometimes) shuts down for a second and then restarts but it already causes the problem because I lose all the data.

I am from India & have the best available UPS connected to my IBM Think Centre desktop & 15" TFT monitor.

Please note that it happens sometimes and not always.

I have already taken these measures:-

a) I have replaced the old batteries of UPS just recently by new and genuine ones.
b) Tried changing the power output point (from where UPS takes power supply.
c) Have verifyied my UPS by installing UPS of my friend, the problem remains.

What is the reason of this problem and how can I solve it?
