when I visit gametrailers.com and check out the videos there are standard def version and high def version of the same videos when I look at the file size of the high def version and compare it to the file size of the standard def version, the high def version file size is way larger. why is this so?

i used this program for the first time to make a slideshow. it crashed on me a few times which really never happens except a few times playing sims 2. so my question is if these movie making programs are pretty much system hogs or just Windows Moviemaker. Thanks so much.

My computer is very secure and I run AV and Antispyware programs regularly. and use Firefox. runs dandy except for making that movie. Thanks.

250 hd at 7200 rpm sata II (you think this is enough? any dif between 8mb or 16 mb cache?)

not sure but i'm getting 500watt powersupply (you think its enough or will it be safer to get more?)

windows xp, vista is still kinda buggy for me.

i got my eye on a nice case with 2 or 3 fans

you think this is a good desktop? how long ya think it will last me?

Hey, I have this slow **** emachines computer that im trying to overclock, ive figured out that with the current bios. So im looking for a bios that will work with my chipset that is full featured and allows me to change clock speeds.

My system is

eMachines - T3516

My mobo is -ECS (elitegroup) RC410-M

And my current BIOS is- AMI (american megatrends) V.080012

I REALLY need to mess with tha clock speeds its annoying not to be able to so any help is appreciated. THANKS! Please at least try to help, and before ya post i am aware of the risks accociated with messing in the bios and overclockering its why i have a spare mobo sitting around :)
