You can use a wireless access point. It just provides wireless to your existing router. These are available from nearly any manufacturer, linksys, dlink, netgear, buffalo, etc.

You might just want to get an integrated wireless router cause the costs are very near the same.

You can buy a wirelss access point, which you would plug into your wired router and set up for wireless. I have both wired and wireless on my network.

You could also attach a wireless router to the existing wired router, but you would have to turn off the routing functions of the wireless. See, for example: http://kbserver.netgear.com/kb_web_files/n101496.asp

Or, you could just replace the wired router with the wireless router.

I recently added a wireless access point and discovered that the wireless routers were cheaper and more readily available than the access points.

yes, its called a wireless access point.

I know the belkin routers can be configured to be access points. The other option is to just replace your wired router with a wireless one. this provides you 4 ports to plug your wired computers in as well as connect wirelessly.
