I left my hotmail account open on someone's (a guy I am dating) computer. And, let's just say that there are some emails about him that I don't want him to see. So, when I got home, I went right to my computer and logged into hotmail and deleted all of the emails. Then, I continued to change the password. The question is, did the changes I made (deleting, changing password) take effect on my account on his computer or could he have viewed continued viewing all the info. unchanged?

I didn't sign out on his computer...but then about 20 minutes later, I did sign in on my computer and make the changes.

The verdict is still out on how I feel about this guy. He has some odd behaviors, so I was just asking/emailing some friends what they thought...but, if he saw the emails he would feel embarrassed.

As long as he didn't read them before you made your changes, you're safe. Hotmail is web based and, without your new password, he can't view them.

If he read them before you made the changes, you will know soon enough.

As long as he didn't read them before then he couldn't have read them. Number one the deleting of the emails would show up on his PC instantly and number two, if the password changes then he can't continue to be signed into your account. You're safe!

first of all, if you signed out of hotmail on his computor then your mail was safe, you can not sign into hotmail at the same time on 2 computers it just wont let you do it! so if you then signed in on your own, deleted the emails and then changed your password i would say you are fairly safe...... but just as a 'foot note' if your are writting horrible emails about your boyfriend then why are you still dating him!!!!!!!!!!

if you were still logged on ur hotmail account on his computer the changes will not have taken effect on that computer until he/you logged out on that computer. Any other computer would require the new password.
