I'm selling my alloy wheels from my ford escort they are 4 stud size will they fit any other 4 stud car or just fords please help advice welcome cheers.

I had my window screen wipers replaced because my old ones stopped working...think motor went. When I use them now they squeek and jump...I went back to the garage and they messed with them and said they should be fine but the problem is still there. They work but obviously something must be wrong for them to squeek and jump. I cleaned the windowscreen so my window is clean. Help! lol

I have a 97 Gmc Safari it runs just fine had the plugs,wires,cap,rotor just replaced at 100k.. I took it for the e-check and got all kinds of codes P0134,P0135,P0146,P0147,P0300,P1133.. Ive seen that most of the codes are O2 sensors. Should I replace all 3 of the O2 sensors and could this have caused the P0300 multiple cylinder misfire ??? Thanks

I recently had the motor (5,000 miles ago) replaced in my truck. I have not had any problems since then...until this morning. I drove 2 miles and my steering got very difficult, the water gauge went to H, and the battery light came on. It still starts with no problem. I finally got it home after stopping several times to cool it off a bit. Any idea of what could cause this? Also I was told that I needed sway bar pins, could it be related to this? Thanks in advance!

There is a red light that keeps coming on in my car for the last two days, its the light with a thermometer and water waves, if that makes any sense. i thinks thats the coolant but im not sure, does anyone know what it is and how do i goabout fixing it, can i do it myself or do i have to go to a garage?

My husband put fuel injector cleaner in the oil reservour by mistake, he drained it, and put new oil in it. I'm afraid that could damage in some way the engine. Is it anything we should do to take it all out of the engine?

My mom decided to use my car, and she lost my car keys. I obviously can't go make a copy made without the key. So everyone is telling me the other option is to go to the dealer with the book, they make a key copy. And then I go make a copy of that. I'm asking if there is an alternative that won't be as expensive

I own a sunbeam tiger that has been sitting for years and does not run.what will is cost to get it running again.I want to rebuild the ford 260 engine and the the brakes etc.the engine is american the rest of the car is british ,looks like a tr6 or mg.has alot of the same parts.What would it cost to have a shop do the work.

I found the defroster running without the key in the ignition and 3 of 4 doors were locked. Is there a quck fix for th problem? Can I just disconnect both battery leads?

I just replaced the at the connection and they seem fine. Fuses look OK. All of the lights went out at the same time, except for one tail light.

My car only squeaks when I start from a stopped position or I am traveling very slow and I am turning right or left. It is a very loud almost embarrassing noise. I am not very mechanically inclined when it comes to determining what kind of car problems I am having. What could be the cause of this?

I recently bought a 94 Saturn SL2. it's in great shape, everything still functions properly, nice cold AC, etc..

but when I'm idling after driving for a while the car heats up at an alarming rate.

it's never gotten to the point where it's hit the "red zone", but came over the 3/4 mark a few times.

I'm concerned because I'm moving to another state in a few months and need this car to be able to make a 1000+ mile drive.

what do you think may be wrong here?

I have a 1995 chevy suburban with a 6.5Turbo Diesel Engine. Previous Owner did away with the original Fuel Filter, due to it being located in back of engine and truck is tall. Mounted a RACCOR fuel / water sepporator on firewall and have been useing that as a fuel filter. However there is not enough room to get to the drain cock. I was thinking of taking that out and putting an inline fuel filter. THinking of useing a Fram G3850 or a Baldwin BF-7725 (the baldwin is what the mercedes' use). Is there a differnce between the gas inlione fuel filter and the diesel fuel filter. Any help or recommendation would be great. P.s. I have taken my tank down to clean it because my fuel is dark and was told that it was probably alge growing in there. Any recommendations on an algecide?

Driving from Flagstaff to Tucson, barametric pressure decreases, altitude decreases, heat greatly increases. 20 miles from Tucson tire blows the tread - still holding pressure, went to tire guy, did pressure test - shot the gauge out of his hand (about 75 psi on both fron tires) any ideas on what happened - Tire guy said the only way to increase pressure was to physically aid air. Thanks

I need to buy a toughd drill bit to drill out two broken bolts. I've been recommended to get either carbide or titanium. I'm not sure what sort of carbide (tungsten?) or titanium or titanium-coated steel? Do they make diamond drill bits for this sort of thing?
