Convertible roof closes but it won't latch in place where the hooks are positioned to lock it. Tried to force it a few times and it worked but getting tired of doing that. I think the top has shrunk or something. Does anybody know what I should do?

my front right wheel is making a loud crunching kinda noise. when i turn it gets louder immediatly and since ive been driving the car its been getting louder and louder. its not making my car any less smoother to drive its just really loud. im worried about wut might be wrong with the car. it just started today after id parked for an hour and had been driving the car a lot. ive driven the car about 30 miles since this started happening.

wut do u think is wrong with it? about how much would it cost to get fixed? and do u think its a major problem?

The ABS light has recently come on in my 99 Explorer XLT and I thought it might be the brake fluid so I changed that out. But the light still comes on. Does anyone know what the problem might be? The car's brakes are working just fine and there's no fluid leaks or anything...but the light is still coming on.

I need a/c temporarily until I can afford to have it fixed, what do I have to get in order to hook up my window a/c inside my car, I'm planning on putting the unit in the trunk and leaving the back seats pushed down so the cold air can get through the car. I want to run the a/c unit off the car's battery, the cigarette lighter does not work.

Hi,
I just replaced the spark plugs recently including the wires but I still get the following codes.

p0300 random / multiple misfire detected

p0303 cylinder 3 misfire detected

p0401 EGR flow insufficient

p1133 manfacurer control
. fuel air metering

p0401 EGR Flow Insufficient


What would be the solution to this ? Thaks

Hi, I've got a 2001 Aprilia SR125 petrol scooter. It's been sitting a month with a fuel tank of petrol and i've just topped it up with the same 2 stroke oil i've used throughout.

There is no kill switch, immobiliser or alarm, only a steering lock.

The battery is fully charged and working perfectly, the starter clicks as it should, the carb is clean as are all jets, gaskets etc. Plenty of fuel flow, Very strong spark and good compression, the exhaust is clear.

The engine wants to start and sounds like it would normally before starting but won't fire!!

A mechanic had a look at it but couldn't get it going after cranking it for ages and twidding the air mixture screw.

To get it to a garage is a 4 mile push =( ...I have no other transport!!

A bit of a long shot but does anyone have any ideas? Or just tell me what it COULD be?!

My battery came on a while back and a few days later my car started acting funny. I took a trip to mcdonalds and on the way back my Speedometer was going whacko and the rpm gauge was too. My cd player was cutting off randomly too. When I got home and was ready to leave the car the windows took forever and a day to wind up(auto). I got home and when I tried to start it again it wouldnt start. So me and my dad took the battery to autozone and they charged it. When I got home, we installed it and the battery light came on again. I don't know how long it will run and need some help on what to do. someone help!

ijsut bought a tranny off a 1991 laser to go on my 1993 eclipse because the tranny in the eclipse blew form the inside out, Its now sitting in my basement because i am waiting for my help to call me back .The guy gave me his clutch and flywheel, is it smart to put all that in the eclipse? i dont have the money for a new clutch, i just dont, so its keep the old one , or put this one on. I've put alot of money into my car , but im not going to have it much longer so i think its ok to replace the used with used , as long as it runs? any thoughts or suggestions?

I need to top off the power steering reservoir in my 1999 Isuzu Amigo (3.2L v6 with auto tranny). The owners manual and my Haynes repair manual say to use Dexron IIe auto transmission fluid. But some employees and mechanics in the local auto stores claim I can just get by with ordinary power steering fluid. Who is right?

Sometimes when I turn the key, it's doesn't turn over. All the lights come on the dash, and I hear the fuel pump turn on, but it doesn't make any other sound. But after awhile, I try again, and it starts up with no problem. What do you think it is? Please help!

I asked this question eysterday for that Mazda that consumes to much gas i know that is 17 year old and the engine may worn but I just noticed today while I was driving and it smells like gas inside the car.Smelled like a fresh gas not burned.But the car accelerates very good is very strong on acceleration.
Anyway smells like gas in the car.
So what could it be any help would be appreciated.
The car have 187000 miles but the seller told me that he replaced the engine year ago.
And the engine I think is Ford Probe engine and is 2.2 l the year of the engine would like 1990.
Any help would be appreciated.
I don't really need this car because I have my 2002 Nissan Maxima but I bought this car just for fun because is manual transmission.
And by the way the speed odometer doesn't work whats wrong with that anybody knowes.

I drive a five speed and the shifter went out on me,i was driving and noticed that the shifter was going up and down freely while still pretty firm back and forth.Then when i was at a stop sign it just didn't work anymore,the clutch was still working though and the pressure on the pedal felt about the same.
shift linkage cable? shifter cable? shift selector? what happened and how much will it cost me?
