Convertible roof closes but it won't latch in place where the hooks are positioned to lock it. Tried to force it a few times and it worked but getting tired of doing that. I think the top has shrunk or something. Does anybody know what I should do?

Sit the car outside in the summer sun, that will stretch the fabric some and allow it to close. I use to have the same problem with my convertible. I left the top down and put the car in the garage, when I wanted to drive it, I made sure that the weather would allow me to drive with the top down. When I did finally want to put the top up, it gave me a fit. Once it was sitting out in the sun, it wasn't so bad. good luck.

they will do this when they have been down for a while,it will be hard to do but it will close ,it may take more than one person to do this, but it will close on it,when they been down for a while they actually do draw up some, good luck with it.
