my front right wheel is making a loud crunching kinda noise. when i turn it gets louder immediatly and since ive been driving the car its been getting louder and louder. its not making my car any less smoother to drive its just really loud. im worried about wut might be wrong with the car. it just started today after id parked for an hour and had been driving the car a lot. ive driven the car about 30 miles since this started happening.

wut do u think is wrong with it? about how much would it cost to get fixed? and do u think its a major problem?

Its either the wheel bearing or your breaks need replacing
Either way i would need more information to tell which exact one it could be.
Does it sound like that all the time when your driving?
Or does it on happen on certain occasions like bumps and such?

If it was the wheel bearing the cost would be around a couple hundred.
If it was the breaks it would costs no more than a hundred.

take it to a mechanic and ask him to JUST LOOK AT IT, tell you what was wrong, tell him not to do ANYTHING to the car without knowing a price first.

It would have helped if you gave us the year make and model of your car. I'll try to "shoot from the hip".

If you have a front wheel drive car your description sounds like a constant velocity joint (CV Joint) problem. Auto parts stores have complete half shafts to replace both inner and the outer CV joint and an axle shaft. They cost $62.00 exchange with the used one and another $50. - $75. for installation. At this time it's super easy to check the wheel bearing also. They run $80. - $90. and if needed can be replaced at the same time.

If you have a rear wheel drive car I'd suspect a bad brake caliper, worn out brake pads or caliper slider pins that have siezed.

Good luck!

Two things

One, c.v. joint but you would be complaining about a clicking noise as well.
Two, an axle bearing, if it gets louder when you turn one way and duller when you turn the other way this is your problem
As for cost ??? dont know what kind of car it is

Sounds to me like its a the half-shaft...assuming ur car is front whell drive....its a fairly simple fix providing u have the tools..if not the local "repair" shop will do it for about 2-3 x what it would cost u to do urself...but yes it sounds like the half shaft...aka cvc shaft

Bad CV joint....replace it you'll be fine. It cost about $150 at a decent shop.

A rock or piece of glass is stuck in your wheel
That happened to me... it just broke up and stopped.
Oh and it goes away on it's own unless it's a piece of glass you need to check it out.

it could be something very simple, to let it go longer is risking your safety and will only lead to a more costly repair bill....take it to a mechanic and get it checked out...
