I had my window screen wipers replaced because my old ones stopped working...think motor went. When I use them now they squeek and jump...I went back to the garage and they messed with them and said they should be fine but the problem is still there. They work but obviously something must be wrong for them to squeek and jump. I cleaned the windowscreen so my window is clean. Help! lol

Your window may be clean, but not the blades themselves. Take a cloth and put some rubbing alcohol on it, Then pinch the rubber part of the blade in the cloth where the alcohol is, and rub it up and down the blade to clean any dirt or grime off of the blade and see if it improves.

the arms are likely bent a bit try changing the angle of the blade to glass it should sweep back under with the change of direction, also try bending them away from the glass to ease the pressure to glass.

it is possible that there is an underlying binding problem in the linkage that caused the motor to fail.. the new motor is fighting the same binding problem now
