Assuming your Escort was a '91 or later, it's got a 4x100 pattern with 12mm x 1.5 bolts.
You'll find a similar pattern and bolt size on various years of Honda CRX, Insight and Civic (and others), some of the Toyota Corollas, and a host of other cars. You don't specify which rim/tire size you've got (an Escort could have been 13, 14 or 15" depending upon model and year), so nobody will be able to give you a specific list.

They wont fit Peugeot unless you buy a spacer kit to correct the offset, but they will fit almost all 4 stud fords and 4 stud Saab, Saab have a different centre bore to a ford so you would need a different set of spigot rings to fit a Ford, a spigot ring centrally locates the wheel onto the hub. Ford is 63.4 and Saab is 65.1, if the Ford wheel is direct fit drilled 63.4, then you wont be able to use a spigot ring and they wont fit a Saab. They will only fit a Saab if the wheels are currently using a spigot ring or you get the wheel bore opened out to 65.1.

Usually you would be OK , but apart from the stud spacing you'd have to check the offset of the wheel to make sure that it doesn't catch on anything.
So you'd need to know the depth (distance from the back face of the wheel to the edge of the rim)
Check it from lock to lock at the front as well

They will fit a number of cars.
What you do is sell them as having 4 stud/bolt holes, on a certain PCD (pitch-circle diameter - effectively the distance from the centre of one hole to the centre of the diagonally opposite one), and of a certain offset (this will be stamped or moulded near the centre of the wheel, preceded by the letters "ET"), and as having come from a particular version of Escort.
Anyone considering fitting them to another car will have to check their PCD, and their manufacturer's recommended offset.

I would think only Fords. Most auto manufacturers like exclusives on sizes so they can count on return sales...
