I have no power to anything even though the battery is fine and I've checked the battery cables at each end.

Nothiong happens when you turn the key and the headlights don't illuminate at any time.

1. Purchase or make a remote starter using 14 ga. Wire & alligator & a push button switch

2. Apply the parking brake

3. Place the trans. in either neutral or park

4. Crawl under the vehicle on the passenger side

5. Inspect the wires leading to the starter. [There should be a metal sleeve over the wire cluster to protect from the exhaust manifold]

6. Use a test light to check for power at the solenoid [touch to the large upper terminal]

7. Clamp one end of the remote starter to the small inside terminal on the solenoid. The other end to the upper large terminal.

8. Press the button, the starter should engage & crank the engine.

9. If it doesn't, then replace the starter.

10. If it does, then remove the wires from the solenoid. The 10ga. Red wire is the main power wire. The first 4" is referred to as a fuseable link. There may be a break in the wire.

11. Replace the fuseable link

Won`t turn over or won`t start? Not a lot of info to go on here. This may sound silly but use a booster cable from the ground terminal of the battery to the engine block and see if that helps. There is a main link to the body and engine but I`m not sure where it is. I am including a link for wiring. Hope this helps. http://autozone.com/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/17/15/42/0900823d80171542/repairInfoPages.htm

check your fusable links. usually come from the positve battery post on the starter to a junction box and if I remember its on the firewall. just look for a single stud in a black housing on the firewall above the distributor, check for power to and from there.
