Hey does anyone have the torque specs for a 1996 3.8 v6 ford mustang on the cylinder head bolts???

I keep seeing sites that say like 13-38 ft lbs but that seems way too low...

The mechanic just repaired some electrical problem with the car. He said their was some ground or something. So they fixed it.

But still the Panel Lights of A/C & Heater turns off when I hit the break. What's the problem? Help.

Could this still be electrical problem?

Has anyone else had this problem? It's at the dealership I bought it from right now, and they don't know what's wrong. The check engine light came on a few weeks back, so I took it to Auto Zone. The code was something about a switch between either the transfer case or the transmission and the battery. I took it to the dealer and they fixed that. Got it back and it started dying on me after I stopped at stop signs! So I took it back again, they replaced the fuel filter. Got it back and it died more!! This time, while I was going down the road. They've had it almost a week now, and have no idea what it is. Any suggestions?

How do i know for sure if it is the main relay or the fuse or whatever that is making my honda civic not start. How would I clean it if it is the relay. 89 honda civic. I already bought a new fuel pump and it still wont start. HELP PLEASE!!! Any other suggestions would be nice also.

I own a 98 Pontiac Grand Am SE. And I just had some work done on it to do with the intake gaskit. and ever since i had that work done on it now my check engine light comes on. And the garage tells me it could have something to do with my gas cover. Has anyone heard of such a thing?

...PLUS the Tun up ??? It is a 2004 Porsche Boxster S with 42K miles on it & i still have the manifacture warranty, but i don't know if those things are included in the warranty or i have to pay for them to get them done as normal wear & tear ???

the truck will run for 3-5 min after the first start it will stay running if i press the gas but stalls immediatly after the engine idals down. After the intitial start it will not restart and remain running it dies as soon as i release the key. I have changed all the related fuel system components. Now Im assuming its an electrical problem. I was lead to believe its an ignition control modual but i cant seem to locate this part under the hood. All sources Ive found says it should be mounted on the inner fender but i dont see it. Which means it may be inside the distibutor but i cant seem to identify which part of the distributor is the control modual. Any insight on what would cause this or links to web sites with 1986 ford pickup wiring scheamatics. Pictures or anything that will get me closer to figuring out whats up with my truck.

I have a 2002 Saturn L- series car when I am driving in stop go traffic sometimes the tempature light will start moving to hot, it does not happen all the time but when it does as soon as I start driving again it goes back to normal. the guy at jiffy-lube told me if I got a radiator flush($80.) this would allievate the problem, is this true or will this be a waste of money. I have never gotten a radiator flush before. Any help on this would be appreciated.

How can I tell if my 96 pontiac sunfire has a 2.2L or a 2.4L? Also, the water pump is going out on it, antifreeze is leaking from the bottom of the car, was told it was the water pump though its not overheating as of yet. Want to know what size motor I have and how difficult it is to get to - to fix?

The car will start and the engine runs normally, but if I put the car into drive or reverse, the wheels wont move. The engine revs normally as though it were in park but the wheels wont turn! Help!

I just had a 3.8L V6 motor (Jasper rebuild) put in my 2000 Chevy Impala. After new plugs, plug wires, and cleaning the injectors. I am still plauged with a misfire on cylinder 6. Cylinder 3 was the only one misfiring initially, new plugs fixed that. But I still had a rough idle that wouldn't go away for the first couple of minutes after starting (I would hear what sounded like water passing through the heater coil at about the same time the idle would smooth out). So my mechanic put the coolant system under vacuum to make sure there were no air pockets, but the problem still persisted. Then Cylinder 5 and 6 started acting up about 2 weeks later. Still having the rough idle, but now it is cutting out when I accelerate and getting worse, with the check engine light coming on, also occasionaly hearing a small "pop" under the hood while it is cutting out. The error(s) it reads on the meter are misfires. It was cylinders 5 and 6 that self destructed on my other motor with only 90k.

I owne a 1996 Grand Am GT. My check engine light is on, my car is over heating at running temprature. when my temprature gage is half way up. Then is shuts off. I have changed the temprature sensor, The themastat, The fan relay, and the spark plugs. I have no idea where to go from here. please help me.

for example, a 200 horsepower Acura TSX (FWD) would beat a 200 horsepower Lexus IS250 (RWD) because in the acura, the engine ans drivetrain are all 1 therefore no power is being transfered to the back wheels therefore there is less loss of power and more power to the wheels, where the IS250 has to transfer the power to the back wheels which leads to a greater loss of horsepower to the wheels? Is this true? or are there more factors that affect horsepower to wheels?
