I'm not talking about replacing my tire with the spare,

I have the rim off, and The tire off of the rim, and the new tire on the rim, but I can't get it to seal enough so I can fill it up with air.

Right now I can't get the rubber flush with the metal so the air will stay in. The air just flows out gaps when I try to pump it up.

If I take my car for service at an official dealer; How can I prevent the mechanic or staff from taking my car for a joyride. I have a 911 Turbo Carrera S that requires a couple of days of work. I bought it for around $140,000.The staff knows the car is special. If I leave it at the official Porsche dealer; will they try to race it and go joyriding with it? How can I prevent this?

My rear wiper for my 97 Ford explorer works intermittently. Recently it has not worked at all. I checked the fuses and they are all fine. I brought it to class and my auto teacher said that if it works intermittently then it might be a bad ground. We both looked for it and could not find it, even with a diagram of the wiring. Can anyone pinpoint where the ground could be? My opinion is behind the hatch back door panel but we are not sure.

I want to buy a mazda mx3 from a local dealer, when the car started up it was a little smokey. We took it for a drive, when we got back we removed the oil cap and it was a little smokey, and when you smelt the inside of the cap it smelt really strongly of burnt oil. We dipped the stick and the oil seemed nice and clean.

I have taken them off other cars but can't seem to be able to find how the idler releases. This is a 1998 Buick Lesabre with a 3.8 V6. Also what's up with the bolt on the idler I can't get a metric or standard wrench to fit on it. What I am trying to do is change to altenator.

Thank In Advance

Driving car & did not know that the oil was out. There was a pop, a brief puff of smoke under the hood and then the car died. It is a '93 Mercury Capri 5 speed. It now runs when on clutch and gas but, will die if off gas. It runs very rough (missing), but all electrical components run. After putting oil in it, it pours out when I turn the car off. Do you think a head gasket, thrown rod or. . . .?

I've got a 280zx that needs lots of rubber replaced and right now I just want the stock uncut roll that I can put in it. Is there an auto-shop or something that anyone knows sells rolls uncut? It can't be any hose obviously because of the high temperatures and conditions in an engine compartment but they don't have to be made of gold either.
