I have a 1984 Chevy S-10, the drivers door window will not roll up or down, it will pull up if i pull on the top of it but then it goes right back down, i was wondering if it just fell off a track or something that can be fixed with me taking the door panel off and fixing it, what should i do

All codes come up air door inoperative error, air inlet door range error, air mix door #2 range error. I guess this is why I'm only getting hot air. This is even when I put on the vent.

About a week ago I noticed a clattering noise coming from the a/c compresor. while I still had cold air I did not notice anything else.Today my cold air stopped. I took a closer look @ the compresor and noticed the clutch would make about one revolution and pause for a second then try for another revolution then pause again. The compressor is on the bottom of the engine. I do a lot of hunting ,so therefore mud splashes on the undercaraige alot ,but i try to clean really well. I do not see any mud around clutch. Could this be mud or a worn out clutch or something else. I checked the wires @ the low pressure switch they seem to be in good shape. any help would be appreciated thanks greg

I think ive looked everywhere, under the hood, both doors, even under the friggen carpet and spare tire in the trunk. I cant find my paint code and i want to fix a really long scratch but i bought the wrong paint. I cant find any websites that will tell me the code. Hi I have a 2001 ford mustang and recently i went over a speed bump and heard an unusual scraping against the bottom of my car. When i parked, I looked underneath and there was sort of a small pipe or something hanging from the MIDDLE underbody of the car. Any ideas as to what it may be?

Okay about a month ago it got ruined, it wouldnt turn on at all, the radio and everything else would... but the engine wouldnt. I got it towed to a mechanic and he said i burned the Transmission and after the transmission finallly got fixed (almost a month later) he said he started the car and it was shakin A LOT.. he said my 3rd cylinder was screwed up like he'd never seen before, the spark plug was completely burned but the other three were fine, and that i need a new engine, can anybody help me? Is this mechanic lyin to me? i dont know much about cars... WHAT SHOULD I DO?? Please help

Ok so the other night my jetta while idling normally just suddenly stalled out and then when i restarted it it ran like crap then got a little worse each time it would stall and I would restart. So I decided to just let it sit til the morning. I went out in the morning and it would not start at all and still wont. I hooked it up to the computer, and Cam Position Sensor code p0341 popped up. That code will come up if your timing belt slips and the timing is off. If this is the case, How bad is it if the car was tried to be started several times throughout the day? Will this Bend anything, fu*k anything up? Can this be fixed without a hitch? What do I do?

I would like to change my spark plugs myself. However, the three plugs located on the back of the engine look quite hard to get to. Is it easier than I think or should I leave it to the experts. I have changed plugs before in other 4 cyl vehicles but none on 6 cyl engine positioned like this. What are your thoughts?

I have a 1995 gmc jimmy. I have been having a hard time stating the truck for the past month. I was thinking the batter, alternator, or starter could have been the problem, but those things checked out fine. The problem is on the first initiial start up. it takes anywhere from 5 to 20 times to get it started. It would crank but not turn over. Once the vehicle gets started its fine the rest of the day, then the next day same problem. The last 3 days vehicle would not start at all. Yesterday I took off the air filter and sprayed a little starting fluid in and truck started right up and was fine the rest of the day. Today was hard to start, but a little easier to start than normal 3 tries and it was started. Does anyone know what this problem could be or sounds like? I know its a fuel issue just dont know what kind of fuel issue. Please help me.

I just built a .350 with a 280 hydro magnum comp. cam. It has pretty much stock everything (all LT1 parts). I estimate the motor to be around 300 hp. (maybe slightly more). On first test drive it feels like it wants to go but something is missing. First of all it does not seem like the secondaries on the Rochester Quad. are opening (which would hold it back). The motor sounds/comes on very strong but nothing seems to kick open and it seems starved for air. Rochecher Quads always made a distinctive sound when the secondaries kicked in and I don't hear anything at all. By the way I bought a rebuilt carb from a reputable shop. However, it was a while ago (too long to take it back now).
1. Am I on the right track?
2. How could I test/fix the secondaries?
3. Would this motor be more head snapping if I went with another carb? If so what would you recommend? (I want max performance)

My Lucida will go up through the gears into top fine if I keep pressure on the Accelerater Pedal., but as soon as I lift off, even slightly it will Drop into Second Gear and Rev it's Nuts Off !!!
Anyone else had this PROBLEM ?????????
