its very rarely a pulley problem - it is more likely that there is no gas in the system sensors detect this and will not let it kick in get the system recharge and checked for leaks.

Yes it is possible if you have the replacement parts but is a tricky job and so best carried out by a professional. It may be easier to change the whole compressor (I guess by condensor, you mean compressor as the condensor is the radiator part of the air conditioning system and the compressor is the pump.) Remember the system needs to be re-charged after the job has been completed.

SUV's commonly don't have the wonderful gas mileage yet some do greater ideal then maximum others. i'm taking a raffle in step with my previous ninety seven Cherokee is any the place from 15 to twenty. provide or take some reckoning on what you have carried out to the engine, up grade? or tough ridding on the engine? mileage on the engine?. Hills or stop and bypass site visitors kill the gas too.

you should first bypass the low pressure switch on the filter dryer...big aluminum can...if you short the two connections it will come on if not dead, or check the ground on the clutch, there should be power into the clutch and a grounded wire going out of it...check both with a lighting probe...looks like an ice pick ...hook the clip on the probe to the block and with the ac on max you should have one wire that lights the probe...next move the clip to the positive connection on the battery... test the wires and one should light the probe...you can change the clutch ,but it calls fo special tools and is best left to the pros...

Not if you think it's on the condenser. It's on the compressor and if you had the proper tools it's not that hard. Take the belt off, unbolt the thing unhook the wire. Then do the reverse.

Unless you have an air impact wrench, it's impossible.

It just keeps turning, and turning, and turning.
