I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that terminology.

There are basically two kinds of transmissions, manual shift (called "stick shift"), and automatic shift.

The newer "hybrid" vehicles use a constant velocity transmission, or variable speed, which is automatic if you stretch the terminology a bit...
