fixing window of 84 S-10?

Question

I have a 1984 Chevy S-10, the drivers door window will not roll up or down, it will pull up if i pull on the top of it but then it goes right back down, i was wondering if it just fell off a track or something that can be fixed with me taking the door panel off and fixing it, what should i do

sounds like its outta the track. pull the window up and roll the handle up until its snug against the bottom of the window. this should fix it. my 86 does the same thing.

The window crank mechanism has worn out. Should be able to find a good used one. Do some research, may fit well into the 90's.
