on the roof. the fabric on the roof of the car on the inside is coming off,it blows in the wind, i just want my hair to blow in the wind... is there a special glue i can buy or what? thanx.

Yes there is a special glue for this job. You'll have to remove the headliner, put in new foam backing and then reglue the fabric on.

Well a lot depends on the model and year of your car. Something I did a long time ago when I had the same problem was to remove the headliner and cardboard backing. Most cars you can take out the liner and flip it over and use the top. What I did was get a remnant bathroom carpet of the same color as the cars interior and used contact cement to glue the remnant to the back side of the linerand replace the liner back in the car after I trimmed the carpet to the edges of the cardboard backing and it looked great.

GM car? It is common for GM overhead liners to separate from the foam backing...unfortunately, if it is separating in the middle, it is best to have a new head liner installed...price will vary, but $150 to $200 seems about right...

If it's just an edge, then a good quality spray adhesive may help for a while, but be careful with it...

lol yep glue should work , im sure youd find wat your looking for at the local hardware shop
