My Lucida will go up through the gears into top fine if I keep pressure on the Accelerater Pedal., but as soon as I lift off, even slightly it will Drop into Second Gear and Rev it's Nuts Off !!!
Anyone else had this PROBLEM ?????????

Stop, do not drive it and check the transmission oil, it is probably low, BUT if it is why, your fluid must be going somewhere.

That may be related to the kick down switch beneath the accelerator pedal,That would cause it to change down at exccesively high revs
