i own a 2000 Chrysler Concorde LXi, 3.2L V6 engine, with approximately 82,000-mi. recently the transmission has been slipping when accelerating from dead stop, i cannot open the throttle but only a little before it starts failing, and also when i need to reverse, the tachometer reaches much higher revolutions than previously observed. once i have finally reached speeds of 45 plus will the tachometer show normal rpms at normal speeds, usually when the car meets 3rd or 4th/highest gear. my brother and i completed the routine transmission filter change and fluid flush, however the problem persists. Next, with the use of a OBD II device, the resulting codes displayed the news of faulty/improper gear ratios for 1st, 2nd and Reverse gears. i believe i need to replace the electronic sensors on the transmission. i am in need of professional or skilled help to resolve my auto's dilemma before she leaves me stranded on some interstate in a winter blizzard. thank you.
