You should reach 150 kmiles easily, considering you would reach this mileage in the next 8 years.

I also have a Corolla, a 2002 S model, purchased new, now with 51k miles on it, and I love the car--it's still running like a top. One reason I decided on this car was because of Toyota's reputation for building highly reliable cars. I really value the kind of peace of mind that comes along with such reliability.
If you do all the normal preventative maintenance on a regular basis, I'm sure your Corolla should last you between 150,00 to 200,000 miles.
However, you have to realize that as the miles start piling up, there will be things that will need repair/replacement--things do wear out, after all.
So, eventually you will need to replace the water pump, the brake rotors & pads, the exhaust system, the clutch (if it's a manual shift), etc. Inevitably you are going to be faced with the decision(s) of whether or not it's worth it to put some fairly sizable amounts of money into what's needed to keep an aging car going. If you do still love the car several years from now, it will probably be worth the expense.
But living in the Northeast, with all the salt on the roads in the winter, it's possible that the car will rust-out before it really wears out.

Greetings..Mileage wise it can last you 250-300K with preventive maintenance. The key is how long do you want to keep the car and how much cosmetic wear you are willing to put up with. I had an 80's Corolla wagon with over 280k and sold it to another individual which kept it for at least 2 more years. It had some rust outside and the interior was getting a bit shabby. It also started needing major components (trans was noisy and engine was starting to use oil) but I could have kept on driving it nonetheless. Hope ths helps..

I've had about twenty five vehicles in my life time, I've had just about every make of vehicle that you can buy in the states. I've had old and new cars as well. Out of the twenty five vehicles that I have purchased two of them were Toyota's, and they were the best vehicles out of them all. When I say best, I mean I was not in the least worried about going anywhere in them, I trusted the Toyota's. They would crank up every morning and they never left me walking. One was a 78 Corolla, and the other was a 75 pickup. Both had over 150,000 miles on them, my Mom had an 81 Toyota pickup that she sold to my sister at the 300,000 mile mark. My sister put another 150,000 mile on it when she sold it, course it help that it was a diesel engine. Now I've got an 07 Toyota FJ Cruiser and I do not plan to buy another vehicle for a long time. I guarantee that you will be way tired of your Toyota before it gets tired of you. Happy motoring

I own a 2002 corolla and have done 100,000 miles yet. Corollas here in Dubai are known to run upto 600,000 miles if properly maintained despite of very hot weather conditions. You have made a wise decision. Toyota is the name you can really trust.

You can expect at least 200k miles because toyotas normally last over that amount. If you've ever been to a toyota dealership they normally have a wall full of pictures of people who have over 200,000 miles on their toyota (high mileage club). I have seen some with 346,000!
