You can nickel plate them I think, but chrome plating requires steel.. not the alloy in the wheels

Painted aluminum alloys are a lot more durable, especially up north. I actually prefer silver painted alloys over chrome. I think chrome wheels got a little played out.

Nickel plate or even better if you can do it or find somewhere to do it (more chrome like) is bright anodising!
Bright anodising looks really good and can be done in different colours

as already suggested have them bead blasted them laquered. dont touch meatal with bare hands after blasting wear gloves finger prints show through when laquered.

dick, we dont chrome aluminium wheels coz it flakes off and looks bloody awful.. get them polished and laquered.. itll last longer and look much nicer and itll be cheaper.
