I have a question about my 98 vw passat transmission?

It is a tiptronic automatic. I just came home today and when i put it into park, it was sticking and i had to jiggle it to get it into park. Then, after i was getting nervous because i think it's broken, I try putting it into gear. Then i put it into park and the same thing happened. Can someone tell me what's wrong?

The electronic solonoids and the actuators need to be serviced soon,,,it could just be that they need cleaning and lubricating.

They might not have installed it properly. My best bet would be to take it back to whoever fixed it , and see if they can't fix it right. Other than that, I don't know man.
