It wouldn't be, if you were my neighbour! Take it to a garage, or at least disconnect it. Or you will be asking "how much damage would a pick-axe through the bonnet, have done to my engine?" Alarms ARE adjustable for sensitivity, there is a little dial on them. Maybe passing cars are setting it off, or there is a power-drain which is causing it to trigger. Does it have a casette player in the stereo? It's common for a tape-motor to keep turning, it's a hard diagnosis to make sometimes, but it can be enough, over a period, to drain a battery a little more than the VERY minimal power-drain which happens overnight (the alarm, the clock, the stereo memory) - and it is this extra drain, which the alarm system sees as a possible big drain, like the interior light coming on, when a door is opened. If you want security, forget the alarm, nobody listens to them anyway. Just fit a simple switch - costing a pound or less - in the live feed of the fuel-pump. Mount it in a hidden place, such as under the dashboard, or in the luggage area. Without the pump working, that car is NEVER going to start, just leave a thief, even one with the keys, sat there, cranking the starter on the key!

Check with your local Honda dealer to see if your car was equipped with an anti tow switch add-on to the security system. If it's an aftermarket security system, just ask your local garage to see if an anti tow switch is on your car. These switches will tend to set off the alarm, if the car is overloaded, causing the system to think someone is trying to tow it away. Mechanics and some tow truck drivers can bypass this switch for you to test out this theory. This will only take a minute and is harmless to the system. Good luck.

Check the door pin switches, these switches are bad for breaking the lug which the door catches as it closes, if the lugs broken the alarm thinks a door is open! Check the switches for corrosion too, check the vents are closed and the volumetric sensor.
Hope this helps.

The sensitivty is set too high. These usually can be adjusted. If your car is in warranty, you can get it done FOC from your dealer.
