My sister has like this 87 honda that she's gonna sell me for like $150. Her husband just flushed out the tank because of the rust. It's going to be an ongoing problem-How often will this be a problem. Is it worth it.

My Kawasaki ATV is breaking down! It’s only 2 years old and already having huge problems. The first problem was fixed; the ATV had the oil light and we gave it 2 cycle oil. Soon after putting the oil in; the ATV would either not start or could not go on a continuous full throttle without cutting off. Is it the engine? Is it the oil? Is it the battery? If this is beyond house repair and needs to see a mechanic, please give me an estimate window. THANK YOU!

I have a 99 Chevy Z-71 with the 5.3L V8, Im wanting to add a 6 inch lift with some 35 inch tires. I have 3.73 gears in my truck, is that enough gear to handle that much tire? I have 285/75's on the truck now, a 285/75 is the same as a 33 inch tire. The truck has no problem with them. Im hopeing everything will be fine. I will change the gears if I have to, but I REALLY REALLY DONT WANT TO. What do yall think? Do I need a lower gear, or a shorter tire? THanks fot the help... Joe

In two seperate sessions, how long does it take first to remove the transmission if working alone, and then second how long does it take to put a new one back in? With help on the second for sure, and possibly help taking it out.

i have a 1991 pontiac grand am my oil pressure keeps dropping when i'm idioling and my check gauges light comes on but when i press the gas it goes back up i've had my oil and filter changed twice within a 1000 mile period if anyone has any ideas please let me know

Is one kind of tire better than another? What's the difference? I understand that the brand-name makes a difference in price but when it comes down to it... isn't it just rubber on the road?

Why would 2 brands of tires that are the same size meant for the same car cost so much different?

my eclipse is a standard and itll go into gears just fine but itll move like an inch and then just not move and rev out. is it the slave cylinder or the half shaft? everything was checked other than those people keep telling me its those. its not the pressure plate or the linkage or throwout bearing. i bled the clutch and that didn't work. it's not the trans either.

My Signum which I bought recently has a vibration at 70-80 MPH. I have had the tyres balanced which made no difference and the technician said that because the car was quite new that it was unlikely to be the suspension. The car is fitted with budget tyres which are quite hard. The guy from the garage thought that the budget tyres could be causing the vibration due to the hardness of the rubber. Is this possible or will I just be wasting money if I buy a new set of tyres?

My mercedes a-claas has been running poorly for a year but still starts and drives, the other day i checked the oil and it was low but above minimum mark, so i put sum oil in, but to much now its half a cm over maximum, is this dangerous should i get it drain? when ive left my car over night then started it in the morning its made a noise like its clogged up or sumthing then i gas to clear it also the high oil level light comes up on the dash, is the engine messed up?

I let the gas tank get VERY close to empty. Then added 3/4 tank of gas. Now the car stalls when I take my foot off the gas. Car runs good with my foot on the gas. Car ran fine before . What can I do to fix problem?

Yes, I have checked the centrifugal tap air return guide cam lock, but it still beeps loudly.Also I noticed the Hybrid cam gong is emitting Gamma cabbages and neo-particles on the pawl bell end.Cant seem to find the hub grub screw adjuster tap. I have a leak of some kind in my fuel tank on my 97 Dodge Stratus. Now- this doesn't occur normally- I'm not leaving a trail of fuel behind me. But, if I fill the gas tank completely (we are talking till teh pump shuts off) and then wait a second, I start hearing the fuel hitting the ground and see it running out. But not that much.

My question is- for any familiar with this car- is this a problem that has come up before? Is it possibly a eroded gasket, a valve that has become faulty (or wasn't tightened properly), or is it just an oddly positioned hole towards the top of my tank?

I'd like to have some clue how to approach this- so I wanted to see if this is common at all.

While in a rush to get out, I put the fluid in the wrong place. The car has not overheated but I have smelled the fluid evaporating. There is no difference in engine temperature or running condition. Its a 2002 civic LX with the non vtec motor. Can I leave it in to evaporate or should I change the fluid?

I have 2002 Chev Tracker and am having a hard time finding shocks, other than Monroes or Wal-Mart quality. I use my Tracker for Off-roading so I would like to get a brand that can handle it, Pro Comp, Rancho, BDS, etc.. Unfortunatly I can't find any that are vihichle specific, so I'll need to take a measurement to find a shock that'll fit.
What info. will I need and how do I get it?

off but then i came back on and started ticking again.
the light goes off it stop the light goes on it starts ticking again and the longer you let in run the louder the licking gets. does any one know what the problem is.

I want to build a sb 350 I have no heads but I have crank pistons etc I don't know if I will even keep those should I buy aluminum heads Cast iron or stock at a swap meet and build them what do you think I just want to have a good strong street maybe strip mustang eater

it drives like it is going through 4 inches of snow. I keep checking the tire pressure and it's fine, so are the treads, and the rims look OK. What could be wrong with my car? And don't say everything is due to the wheel being misaligned. I think that's a symptom, not the problem. Thanks!
