my eclipse is a standard and itll go into gears just fine but itll move like an inch and then just not move and rev out. is it the slave cylinder or the half shaft? everything was checked other than those people keep telling me its those. its not the pressure plate or the linkage or throwout bearing. i bled the clutch and that didn't work. it's not the trans either.

If it is the halfshaft, you won't even move an inch. This sounds more like a clutch slipping problem. My only question is how do you know the pressure plate is fine? My next step would be to tear the car back down (have the one who checked the pressure plate do it) and check the clutch plate.

If it will go into gear chances are the slave cylinder is fine as it disengages the clutch. Your problem has to be in trans. or axles.
