It has a new radiator, but I will be driving down the road and start hearing a very fast clicking noise and then it starts to over heat. I know I'm loosing anifreeze because I will have to add more, but my resevoir is always full. I'm not sure what is going on. Could this be my thermostat? Thanks Desperate!

Recently whenever it rains or snows my car has been stalling. It dies for approximately 8-10 minutes then will start back up. At this time it will run for about 3-5 minutes and die again. Then, finally will start back up and stay running. This is happening when it rains.. or last time.. after a snow shower. Im guessing im getting moister somewhere...but where? And how can i fix it.

My Saturn I've had for 5 days now just died on the highway yesterday and wouldnt start again??I was just driving minding my own buisness on the highway and the car just died, i had to coast to an empty parking lot and push it the rest of the way. It does turn over when i try to start it. But it will not start at all. To me it sounds like its not getting any gas.But hey thats just me. Theres is gas in it i filled the tank up right before and it has electricity so i know the battery is good. What could this be?? Does this happen when the fuel pump goes out?Will it just die like that all of a sudden if its the fuel pump? Are they known to do that.i did make sure it had oil and water in it. This is a 2001 saturn. Any suggestions please, thanks in advance.

My car has failed the MOT. It has clean oil and a new oil and air filter but failed the MOT badly. Any ideas for what to look at next. It doesn't have a catalyst.

This morning, I discovered that my taillights and dash lights were out. I went to replace the fuse (which is a 20) and it blew out as soon as I turned the lights on. I then tried a 25 and 30 and the same thing happened. I tried about 5 fuses and every time, it blew out as soon as I flipped the switch.

Other Details:

It just snowed here and I did a lot of driving around in it yesterday

everything else is working fine (directionals, radio, dome light, warning lights, headlights, brake lights, auto locks, auto windows)

No other fuses are blown out

My car won't start, but when I turn the ignition key it sounds like it wants to start. I'm assuming this means that its not a problem with the battery being dead. Any ideas?

My 2000 Mazda 626 front end shakes violently at times. It doesn't do it all the time. I can make it stop by applying the brake and slowing down, after which I can begin driving normally again. There is no certain speed at which it occurs, although because it will shake so bad I don't go too fast with it. The tires are not low, nor do they have any bumps on them. It seems to be coming from the drivers side. I checked the car out at home to make sure lug nuts were tight, it seems so, the tire won't move when tugged on. When the shaking occurs it feels like the tire is about to fall off, or that the whole front end is going to fall off! What could this be?

Any time I make a sharp right turn I hear a metal-on-metal grinding noise that seems to fade as I go down a straight away, any idea's?

if you think you know what it is, could you give me an idea on the price range or if it's something I could fix on my own, I have moderate expirience fixing small things on cars, once i figure it out.

I had the stereo go off after starting car for the last time. Display for stereo also went off. Locked car as normal when home with key button. Went to get in 7 hours later no power to central lockingand car wont turn over. Put battery on charge but only reading 1amp so dont think it was dead? Any ideas?

The engine malfunction light has come on my Ford KA (year 2000). Does anyone know what this will mean? the car was sluggish and didn't pick up speed just before the light came on but prior to that, we drove around 80 miles in it and it was absolutely fine. I will be taking it to the garage but wondered if anyone on here has any idea what's wrong with it and how much it will cost to fix?

I have a 1990 Honda Accord. The alternator was just replaced on it for the second time (the first one replaced two months before was fautly.) The Mechanic said that when he did the second replacement my battery was good. However, if it sits more than a few hours it won't start. It will start fine when it's jumped, but not on it's own. if it sits nine hours or more (i sometimes have long shifts at work) the battery is just about completely dead.

What could be causing this?
