My Saturn I've had for 5 days now just died on the highway yesterday and wouldnt start again??I was just driving minding my own buisness on the highway and the car just died, i had to coast to an empty parking lot and push it the rest of the way. It does turn over when i try to start it. But it will not start at all. To me it sounds like its not getting any gas.But hey thats just me. Theres is gas in it i filled the tank up right before and it has electricity so i know the battery is good. What could this be?? Does this happen when the fuel pump goes out? Will it just die like that all of a sudden if its the fuel pump? Are they known to do that.i did make sure it had oil and water in it. This is a 2001 saturn. Any suggestions please, thanks in advance.

Saturn's with automatic transmissions will shut themselves down if they do not see proper voltage , it will still turn over but not catch , check the battery voltage and whatever sensor monitors batt. voltage , other than that i have no idea

Filling it up right before may be the clue...is it cold where you are? It is quite possible you got a shot of water with that fill up.

The other possibility is a fuel pump that just quit on you...suddenly, and won't start again.

Both Advance and Auto Zone have online shopping, as well as some repair tips and drawings.
