Wheel trims are normally plastic.
If you don't want to spray them again in a hurry, use a paint designed for plastics.
I use use ordinary (cellulose based) car paint, it'll most likely flake off after a while.

Most Auto stores like Halfords sell a paint spray called wheel silver. I used to use it when i worked in a garage. Really easy to use and makes the wheels look like new. Hope this helps.

if you want it to last i say use a motor paint like hight tem paint in a can, you can get it at any auto store

rub them down with wet and dry first, then primer them and use just normal car body spray but it wont last very long because it will chip. its cheaper buy new ones.
