go kart engine problem?

when i pull my pull starter there is a squeaky noise. I think it might be the pulley or the pull start. Need Help.

Remove the pull starter and clean/oil it. Depending on the engine the pull starter will either come off by itself or you will have to remove the engine cowling such as with a briggs.

if it tries to move when you pull start an squeeks, than its your clutch, bushing has dried up if it is a centrifical clutch with chain,than put a small drop of oil, not so much that it coats the clutch tho,if it is belt driven than look at recoil
