I had an accident and now the front bumper has about one inch deep cut in the corner by the fender.

When I got the car you could smell gas when the heater or AC was turned on. I recently got a new tire and rotation and since then it seems when I turn left a little, I hear a high pitch squeek that disappears if I turn really hard. If the same pressure is to the left, I hear a soft grinding noise. I was going to get this fixxed but today I saw a little light come on the dash. It's red and looks like a tank with an arrow pointing down from the openning and a liquid line below that near the bottom of the tank. Not long after, I smelled burning rubber and noticed the dash thermaumeter was dangerously close to (H)ot. I can't seem to pin point when it goes hot, but I doubt it's during turns. I am not sure what is wrong with the car (liquids to add or change,) how to add coolant if needed (something about 50/50 solution to a specific grade?) and if something is wrong with the tires or mounting. I also hear a light tumbling noise like something in the trunk, but it never gets louder over bump

I have purchased new pads for front and they gave me 4 pads in a small cardboard box. I have removed the "drivers-side front", wheel and have exposed the rotor and braking mechanism, Now what ? how do I remove the worn brake pads.?

Ok car guys I'm counting on you. I have an Olds Acheiva 3.1L engine. Power locks, power windows, power steering and ABS brakes. Is set up for air but dosen't have it any longer. Tonight my charge light comes on faintly when braking. I replaced the battery about 2 weeks ago, so I know it isn't the battery. I have been noticing a high pitch whine over the last week. Am I dealing with a generator/alternator problem or a belt problem. I should say here that the volt gauge is staying at around 13 when nothing but the head lights are on. If the heater, radio and rear defrost are on as well it drops down to just before the red low volt's line.

Lend a hand, I am not dumb about car's, just THIS car...

Hey, I just had my oil changed. I have a 2003 Kia Specta with 50k miles on it. The guy asked what kind of oil i wanted in it and gave me some options about synthetic mumbo jumbo... i said i wanted the one in the middle (30$)... I got the receipt and it said i bought the high milage synthetic oil, is that right for 50k?! will it hurt my car? THANKS

i have a 1994 Plymouth Acclaim with a 4 Cyl Motor and the Check Eng light comes on after i start driveing it for a few miles after the motor worms up really good. so i tho it needed a tune up so i replace the Plugs Wires cap and rotor and new air filter. so it still did the same thing took it to auto zone and they told me it was the inline fuel filter so i replace that and i just put a new fuel pump in to cus i tho maybe that was it but it still dose it. i been useing fuel cleener and that don't help. what could it be?? please help.

I just bought a 95 eclipse and the motor runs great, when i put it into gear (first or rear) the motor just reves, it does not stall out, just keeps reving, what sholud i do to fix it?

I have a 1996 Ford Explorer that is giving me transmission problems. At first it when I put it into Drive it would pause and then go forward. Now I have to put it into 2nd gear and then as I go for about 5-10 seconds I can shift it into Drive and have no problem.


All other gears work fine (reverse, 2nd, 1st, etc..) In the last 8 months I have driven from Georgia to Indiana and then from Georgia to Texas with no other mechanical problems.


This is a 2 wheel drive and the transmission fluid is good.


Any ideas? If so , how much does this usually cost? Thanks

i took off all the wiresets for the sparkplugs and didn't know what i was doing and before my dad came to help me i took them all off now it has the firing order on the engine but i don't know what the order is on the distributor tho

The horn is also on this circuit and when I replace the fuse the horn is barely audible. Any ideas?
