I would personally go with NGK. I work in a garage, and this is all I will sell. I run them in my truck (89 Ranger), I run them in my familiers cars (97 Dakota Sport 5.2L, 96 Voyager 3L, 97 Concord 3.5L). I have sold over 500 plugs in the last 5 months, and I have never had a compliant, Ever. Definatly worth the money. Like what was stated, you do not need the 2 prong, or 4 prong, or what ever else they have. Some of these plugs will actually damage the engine because they are producing too much of a "bang" and will slowly erode the interior of your cylinders. I've seen this a few times. Use what was recomended by the manufacture (strength wise, I know Honda/Acura uses NGK from the factory). If you fell that isn't enough, or just want to buy a longer lasting plug go up, but not to a more prong version, like what was said, gimic.
I ran Bosch in my old car and it ran like a bag of rocks, until i switched to NGK, problem solved. I've had many complaints about Bosch, Champion, and the no name brands. A lot of the big name brands are stacked up to be what thye say they are. Stick with OEM and be happy, go NGK.
Random fact. 87% of all Vehicles have NGK plugs installed as OEM. They are OEM equipted on Honda/Acura.

If you look under the hood there is a specification sticker that will give the correct plug for the car, take that number and go to you local parts store and give them that number and tell them that you want the equivalent in a Bosch. The usual plug brand for Honda is a NGK plug which you can get in a split fire and they work quite well.

Use NGK V-Power, or NGK Platnum if you want to go an extra year before changing plugs.
If you cant' find NGK, use Denso copper or platnum.
Platnum will not give you extra power, it will only last longer.
You should be able to get 40,000 off of a copper plug, platinums can get up up to 60,000, double platinum's will get you to 100,000. Iridium tipped will get you to 120,000.
the price for an iridium is around $7-$10 a plug.
do NOT waste your money on bosch, they will not run correctly in your car. Bosch plugs belong in european cars, not japanese or american.
Stay far away from the gimmick plugs, the ones with 2 or 4 prongs on them. they aren't anything fancy, they are still just a platnum plug with extra prongs to burn out.
there are fuel injector cleaners that will literally disinegrate the tip of a bosch platinum plug.

hrmm bosh platinun plugs ARE ok for your japaneese car....
i own a mazda and have bosch plugs in it....bosch makes plugs for all kinds of vehicles including american domestic and european cars. Bosch is a good product. Stay away from champion plugs....they are cheaply made and as a mechanic i have seen them fail alot more often than autolite or bosch.
But i believe that honda puts ngk plugs from the factory in their motors, and they also recommend them for your car. Its never a bad choice to stay with the recommended plugs for your car. But...plugs are cheap and easy to change. talk to other honda owners to see what they like in their car. I usually like to put NGK R plugs in honda's. My second choice is bosch.
Other thing to think about is if your motor is the 2.2 VTEC or not...for a VTEC i would recommend using the NGK iridium for longer life and a hotter spark.
Good luck!!!

i own a repair shop, and right now the best plug for the money is the Bosch platinum, they out last any thing i have ever used before,i started using them a few years ago and i have stayed with them ,i have a set in my truck they have around 30 thousand on them, and it still runs like new,and for a Honda the really do good, there a single tip plug, and do really good, the platinum in them keeps them from over heating, and that makes all the difference right there ,cheaper plugs get to hot,and start to glow, the cooler a plug can run the better and longer it will last, ask at any parts store ,and see what they recommend, good luck,i hope this help,s.
