1996 Chrysler Town & Country, front-wheel drive, 3.8 engine
The problem is a wobbling, or vibration only when accelerating.
This problem begins at approx. 45 mph & we changed the front lower drive-train mount, which was broken. Also, the left upper transmission mount, which was collapsed. We examined the right-side CV axle assembly. It was not binding and it seemed to be in good condition. The left CV axle assembly also was not binding, but there is a measurable amount of slack within the CV joints.

After an excessive amount of cranking, it restarts, but with a whole lot of smoke from the exhaust. What in the world does it need?!

while I was driving a few weeks ago. Is it possible that the reason why it flew up because possibly the hook is bent near the bumper? I really don't have the money to replace the hood (or bumper for that matter) but if anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

It blows all the air through the defrost vents in the dash instead of straight out or on the floor when I change the selector knob to those areas. I also seem to have problems with my rpm's bouncing around when at idle and at cruising speed. Could this be a vacuum problem or something else? I just had new plugs and wires put in and new serpentine belt and idler pully. Any ideas?

I had my rotors turned in July 06 by the toyota dealership and now my steering wheel is vibrating again when I apply the brake. I even feel the vibration on my brake pedal. Is that normal for the rotors to get warped within 6 months of resurfacing? I don't drive my truck extensively. Does this mean I have to replace them?

I am sure it means I have to change the coolant/flush the coolant, but is this an indication that there is something wrong with the engine or is this a problem that is 99% of the time fixed merely by flushing out the bad coolant and putting in new/good coolant?

My Hyundai Sonata 2001 failed inspection five times so I am unable to obtain my new inspection sticker which will prevent me from getting tickets. Here are some key points: Car got new alternator and battery three weeks ago b/c the battery died (that part was obvious) but the mechanic also said I needed a new alternator (who knows if that's true)Inspection failed at the first station I went to which also put in my alternator and battery. They said I have to drive the car on the highway so that the monitors re-set. So I took a road trip for six hours.Went to another mechanic;failed inspection 4 more times. They only charged me for my first failure, and not for the others... they said that the car passed the saftey inspection part BUT that the Catalyst and O2 Sensors are not allowing my car to pass. They said the monitors are "not ready" and I have to drive the car around some more (and hope I don't get a ticket).Dealership wants to charge me to see my car.

My car turns on, all the lights work, all my doors work properly (they lock and unlock automatically), but the window doesn't work properly. It can go down to a certain distance but it refuses to go up, and when it does it's only by cm, at a time!! What can cause this problem and how can I fix it? Oh and where can I go too.

I had a twisted cord and a tread separation with a set of Michelins.

They were so slick they would lose traction in wet grass. Any time it rained I had to drastically reduce my speed. I installed a set of Goodyears and the difference was night and day.

Has anyone else had any miserable experiences with Michelins? I am not talking about Continentals that are made in Germany, or Pirrelli made in Italy... this is about French made Michelins that half the drivers in the world swear by.

Anyone had any tire brand that was over-rated, overpriced, worthless junk?

Lets vent!

I would like to exchange my current transmission which is an automatic for a standard transmission. I have a 1991 Chrystler New Yorker. The transmission has been rebuilt last year but still is not working as it should as it is stuck in second gear. Transmission shop says that they have done everything that they can to repair. So now I am stuck.
So, would it be possible to make this swap or am I barking at the moon here. ?

Thanks much for any suggestions that may help.
