I didn't use the car just for 24hrs, then the new battery is dead. The car was covered with snow, does it affect the battery's function just for 24hrs?

Also the ignition locks up and can't get the key out. Then the battery goes dead, then a charge cures everything.

Strange, right?

I've noticed an orange maintenance light turn on in my Honda the other day. Does this mean I need to get an oil change [which I'm due for] or do I go to the dealership to see if there's another problem?

I have a 2002 Grand Am GT. I got home from work this afternoon and the car was fine. I parked it and went inside. When I came back out latter to go to dinner all my lights and everything worked, however when I turn the key all I get is one click, it will not even try to turn over and I do not hear the strater clicking at all when the key is turned to try and start it. What do I need to check, the battery cables seem to be conected and there does not seem to be a lack of power in it (lights not dim locks work fine). I just replaced it a month ago. I am going to try and jump it just to be sure but need suggestions on what to look at next if this doesn't solve my problem. Please don't say buy a new car, not an option.

I have a 76 chevy pickup and there was a crack in the metal gas line from the fuel pump to the carborator. Auto Zone suggested that I replace it with a rubber hose. Is that just as good or would I be better off replacing it with another metal tube.

I have a 97 Ford Taurus and it was diagnosed as needing a new cam sensor and synchronizer. However, the car has $180k miles and I'm not sure if I want to invest the money to get it fixed. What can happen if it is not replaced? Can it lead to sudden engine failure?

I have a 1995 Chevy Berretta that Overheats very quickly when I have the radiator cap on, but if I remove the cap I can drive anywhere I want for as long as I want. The Engine still runs at a slightly higher temp though. Could this just be a problem with the cap or should I be looking for something worse?

I had a guy buff and wax my car last summer. He had no idea what he was doing and ruined the paint on my 2004 Cadillac CTS. Now I have a hard time finding someone to fix these things because I think there all quacks now. If you look at the car in the sun light you can see a bunch of circular scratches, I've heard them reffered to as webs. Is there products and a proccess I could do myself. This is not an expirament so please give me an aswer that has been proven to work. Also if I'm gonna take it to a shop , do i take it to a paint shop or a hand car wash and what should I expect it to cost me? Thank You
