you lug the engine and put pressure on the clutch. Do it once and a while and its fine, but do it all the time and you may break something.

As long as you are not lugging down the engine, nothing will happen. If you are skipping gears without using the clutch, you will end up needing to replace the syncros.

I dont suggest you do it downshifting because it can put more on your engine than it needs at one time, up shifting, just watch your rpms, if they are at about 2,500, i say go ahead and up shift if you want, it does save gas and is easy on ur car

You miss it and if youe Up-shifting you'll chugg a bit or kill it or if you down shifting, you get slammed against the sterring wheel and your tires will screetch a little. Just don't do it often!

if you keep the rpm's high it will not do much as long is only one shift. but if you go from say 2nd gear to 5th gear your car could stall.
