I actually have obvious this alot with the 5.2 and the 5.9, first actual ingredient pull the air purifier off with the engine no longer operating open the throttle and seem instantly down into the intake your staring at for oil sitting down there, if there is oil you've gotten come acrossed quite some the most unusual challenge with the 5.2 and 5.9 engine there cut back intake plenum gasket fails and creates a vacuam leak, allowing engine oil to get into the intake, if so commerce the intake gaskets larger and cut back, start up it and run it if the problem continues to be there substitute the up bypass o2 sensor which has been contaminated via the engine oil .

i own a repair shop, and you might want to change the gas filter on it,,they,ll do this when there getting dirty, also a throttle position sensor will cause this ,to happen, you can take it by any auto zone store and have then scan it to see if it has any trouble codes on it,this will help you a lot in repairing it,,at least you,ll know if it does have a bad sensor and what to replace,,buying parts and guessing gets real expensive,,good luck,i hope this help,s.
