I'm just gong to take a guess at this one ,,but it sounds like to me that it may have blown up,or thrown a rod or something,,from what you have said about it and the fact that when you add oil it runs, i may be wrong ,,but i think you have serious engine problems here id have someone look at it,,you didn't describe the problem good enough for me to try and answer it ,i would probably be wrong on this one,,but have someone look at it,,i hope its nothing serious,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.

Definitely sounds like you blew the engine. The unusual noise from the lifters could have been a symptom of oil starvation.

Next time, take better care of your engine, and don't drive it if it sounds like a serious problem. Get it to a reputable mechanic, although admittedly it is difficult to find anyone truly qualified to work on these cars. Never drive it low on oil!

almost sounds like you let your engine run out of oil causing the whole engine to seize up and as far as i know there is no fix to that other then put a new motor in there and next time deal with it when its just a little problem at 2 rpm hope this help and good luck

I'm guessing you shut it down or turned it off to put in oil---that gave the engine enough time to seize. why, were you putting oil in it?. I can't tell if you seized a bearing or scored a hole--or both. Fastest way to tell is to remove the oil filter, cut it open and squeeze the oil out of the filter medium. look for copper, brass , and metals. If all dark particles mixed with silver--you lost piston, if it has gold colored flakes--you lost the crank. if all three--oh well, it needed to be fixed anyway.

In spite of your poor english, I think I get the general idea. That is what is known in the U.S. as a blown engine. The insides of your motor are now scrap metal. Good luck. Next time you will take a little more care with maintenance.

now I'm going to take a wild guess at this and i think dodge man might back me up on this? you could have broke a connecting rod and the bottom part is now laying in the oil pan that one piston and rod might be stuck in the cylinder. and then it would run but not on all cylinders.
