i bought one of these clip on lights that you can use for over your computer, or where ever , and it said no more than a 60 watt bulb...which it was. i haved used for it fos a couple of weeks and all of a sudden tonite the bulb just blew right out.it just threw the bulb out, the base of the bulb is stillt here.so i unplugged it what do you think happenend?

I dunno. But I had a similar experience with a booklight bulb that supposedly ran on both batteries and regular power. I left the batteries in while it was on regular power, and it blew out the light and the batteries started hissing and melting.

Possibly moisture on the light, or too much current. Not sure.

I think it was just a defective bulb.

A surge might have done it, but that is really not likely. All that would happen with a surge is the bulb would just burn out. Period.

Replace it and see what happens. If another one pops out like that, maybe consider using a 40 watt instead.

uh... they dont... do you recommend like once you swap them on or off. in line with danger it ought to be the fixture increasing because it heats. in the adventure that your lights are poping at you, you will have an electric powered concern. or you would be able to could desire to pee in somewhat cup.
