T- cut will take out minor scratches, might need to go over the area 2 or 3 times though.

Great question. I have tried yelling at and scaring my scratches away, and they just sit there. I threw rocks at them trying to chase them away, only to have more scratches show up.!!! I guess you could always try to lightly color sand and buff them out. It is a simple process. Or you could go down to the local auto store where the usually sell 'Touch-up ' paint that usually comes in small cans or bottles with a small applicator brush then lightly color sand and buff out there area or whole car. They also make a wax called Color-Back that comes in a rainbow of colors. Simply buy the color of wax that matches your car's color, and the scratched disappear. One more thing, don't try shooting them off with a shotgun. This just attracts holes and more scratches. Good luck.

Are you sure the other driver wants you to repair his car?
If so you are lucky, for fine scratches try t-cut or a rubbing compound.

For the Chrome apply baking soda on a damp sponge/cloth and leave on for an hour or more then rise off. If you rust then rub aluminum foil which has been wet with bola. for the best result dampen a cloth with amonia and wipe it down. then rinse with clean water.

PS these are only for minor to medium scratches. Not severe ones, like deep scratches.

Hope this helps!!

You can use a cream called T-cut. It is rubbed on the scratched area and covers scratches like new. Instructions on can. Excellent to use for minor scratches

If its your car you could try a rubbing compound if they are not deep but if they are deep then go to your local car's dealership they will have your color touch up paint if its very comman then a local auto part store is a good place to go for it and also a good place to find rubbing compounds the rubbing compound will need alot of elbo grease but if its some one elses car then unless its your friend there is not alot you can do its up to them as to what they do

If the scratches aren't very deep you can use a fine cutting rubbing compound. Otherwise you'll have to use a more aggressive compound and it's a little more work and elbow grease to make it look good.

You can get touch up paint like finger nail polish with a little brush. Then use rubbing compound at a later date to level the surface.
