Should I buy a new battery???? or give the battery a jump

Take it out of the car and put it on a battery charger to see if it takes a charge. If it doesn't, replace it.

Get it jumped first and see if it will hold a charge. Replace if if it won't hold a charge -- but get the battery and charging system checked first. A week of powering a battery adaptor shouldn't drain the battery so it may be on its last legs.

charge the battery and see if it will hold it. If it doesn't then I'd buy a new battery. You can always take the battery to Napa and they will test it for you. Their tester should tell you whether the battery is still good or not.

Try a "slow charge" or trickle battery charger to hopefully restore the battery first. If that does not bring the battery back, then buy a new one at Wal-Mart.....

Jump your car and charge up the battery.....it should be fine.
