My Dodge Avenger needs a fuel pump replacement. It is a 1999 Avenger Sport with a 2.5 liter V6. Any Chrysler mechanics out there with a some insight on this job?

my car will not start, but will with a little push. the aa said it was the battery, so got new one and car worked for 2 weeks but now its not starting again. called a.a. again they now say starter motor drawing 345 amp while cranking and turning slowly???? some times it will start. What do i need to buy to fix this problem

Then itll stop while Im driving but when I come to a stop sign or red light and slow down the battery cage dips low and the belts start to squeek again, I tested my alternator and they said it was fine unless a regulator went bad inside any ideas??? Thanks!

I had O2 sensors and timing belt/water pump/antifreeze/alternator belt/AC belt replaced on my Camry '97.
I was charged $325 for labor (75 for the sensors, 250 for the belts), $400 for parts (250 for the sensors, 150 for the belts), total of about $750. Was I had?

Okay, the thermostat gauge on my car goes up to the center like it is supposed to, but when I turn on the heat, it blows hot 4 a little while; like 3-5 minutes, then just blows air. Can someone tell me exactly what the problem is? Do I just need antifreeze, a new thermostat, or something else?? Please help!!!

As of now i own a 2000 dodge neon. A few days i went to pick up my mom who lives abour 5 min away. I turned on the heat. Air did blow out, but it was far from warm air. I than though if let it sit for about 8 min it would warm up. Still not working. I have no idea what the problem is and how to fix it.

Using the master key in the driver's side door locks up the whole car, then there's a pause and everything unlocks. Same thing if I lock the car from the inside - brief pause and then everything unlocks. However, if I lock the door from the inside while the engine is running it stays locked. Any way to fix this myself and/or turn off auto locking in the meantime? Thanks.

My truck dies on me while making turns (both right and left). I am usually going slow at the time it dies like pulling in a parking space or making a u-turn. I have had it checked out but no one knows why?? I own a 2001 Chevy Sub.

I recently purchased new tires for my SUV (BF Goodrich Long Trail). My front tires are now making the most awful noise like their is something hard rolling around inside the rims or hubcaps. It's extremely loud and I can hear it even at creeping speeds. It does not happen all the time and the noise does not necessarily happen in both tires at the same time, plus it varies in volume. I have noticed, the noise is exceptionally loud right after I wash the truck. I took it back to the tire dealership, they heard the noise too and checked out the tires by taking them off and looking for broken valve stems. Now they are telling me that the tires are expanding and making the noise and I should not be concerned. Well, I am concerned. Something is not right. What can this be? Prior to the new tires, I had NO noises at all. Please help me understand what the problem could be so I can have a better understanding as to how to re-approach the tire dealership to have this corrected!!

dodge man if ya see this i need help
i own a very nice 1969 dodge charger i installed a 440 six pac in this baby. problem is it starts up runs fine when i nail the throtle while its in the garge to see if everthing is okie dokie the 2 middle carbs start to over flow.i tapped on them it quit and ran fine then i shut it down and it did it again? did i set the floats wrong ? old brass type floats should have went with the rubber ones i bet huh??

Mercedes 79 300sdturbodiesel, does not want to start.I was told that the alternator has a relay or box that send the message to the fuel pump, I put a new alternator and still won't start. If the glow plugs are ok, what else could be the problem? I hope to get an anwer. Thanks. It'll start if I spray ether in throtle.

I have a 1997 Ford Expedition with about 93,000 miles and it won't start. I had to get a jump on Friday afternoon and it was fine. I started it up on Saturday but didn't drive anywhere and now today, Sunday nothing. I tried to get a jump but it did not work this time. My remote won't even work to unlock the doors. The radio kicks on but each time I've tried to start it and the headlights are not coming on. The daytime running lights usually pop on as soon as I put the key in the ignition. Could this just possible be a bad battery. THere is some corrosion ont he battery terminals but it is not excessive. The first jump took but the second one won't. I am unsure how long the battery has been in the car because I have not had it that long. Funds are tight and I am hoping that this won't be an expensive fix. Any suggestions out there. I intend on purchasing a new battery on tomorrow.

it will turn on and run for awhile then turn off then back on for a sec then back off it is really irratic even sets the car alarm off...i have changed the sensors the thermostat and the relays...if anyone has a idea on what to try next please let me know....
